Paragould Quality Specialist

The quality and engineering system coordinator manages the quality management system activities such as document control, corrective actions, production part approval process (PPAP) and internal auditing.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Document Control
  • Maintain all controlled documentation (master lists, policies, procedures, control plans, etc.) and manage document change activities and record retention as required
  • Maintain, report, and distribute controlled engineering standards internally and externally
  • Assist acquiring and controlling engineering specifications/standards
  • Purchases and orders specifications as needed; conducts annual reviews to verify that the specifications on file are to the most current revision level
  • Report DCN activity/status to management and appropriate personnel
  • Assist in the development of other document control areas including operator instructions, training videos, etc.
  • PPAPs
  • Generate PPAPs per quality management system and/or customer requirements
  • Maintain master PPAP records and samples and coordinates supplier PPAPs
  • Coordinate recertification activities for customer approval
  • Maintain customer approval part submission warrants for initial submissions and recertification of product
  • Report PPAP activity/status to management and appropriate personnel
  • Internal Audits
  • Schedule and conduct internal audits per quality management system requirements
  • Coordinate and direct internal audit activities of internal auditors
  • Maintain audit records
  • Report internal audit activity/status to management
  • Responsible for initiating actions to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities, identifying and recording problems relating to product quality, processes, and quality systems, as well as controlling further processing or delivery of nonconforming product
  • Responsible for adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent team leadership experience
  • Strong verbal, listening, and judgment skills
  • Excellent reading and writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Skilled in QAD
  • OSHA, EHS knowledge required
  • Knowledgeable of complete productions process start to finish to TS16949 certification
